Cabin Number 8 - The Loon's Nest
Location is one of the big advantages of staying in Cabin #8. It is close the parking area, the children’s playground, and the steps to one of the boat docks.
The Common Loon is the Minnesota state bird. They are one of the first birds to return in the spring and the last to leave in the fall. You can spend hours watching them swim in our bay. They are truly extraordinary. Cabin #8, the Loon’s Nest, is a great 2 bedroom cabin. The larger bedroom has a queen sized bed. The second bedroom is furnished with 2 sets of trundle beds. These beds can be made up as 4 single twin sized beds or 1 set can be pushed together and made up as a king sized bed. The added flexibility makes it possible to use this cabin for a variety of groups. Both bedrooms have large windows and ceiling fans to circulate the air. The kitchen has a very workable layout and lots of cupboard space. This cabin was completely rebuilt from the ground up a few years ago. It has a great bathroom with tub/shower combination and carpet everywhere except the kitchen and bathroom. Both the kitchen and bathroom have tile floors.
