Our Location

Resort Content is located in Muskie Bay on the northeast shores of Lake Belle Taine near Nevis, Minnesota.  Travel to the heart of north central Minnesota and you will find tall trees, clear lakes, and small communities with friendly people.

Nevis is located midway between Park Rapids and Walker just off Hwy. #34.  We are a 2 hour drive north of St.Cloud and a 1 hour drive south of Bemidji.  Fargo/Moorhead is south and west of here and requires about 1-1/2 hours of traveling time.  We are better than 1 hour but less than 2 hours north of the Brainerd/Baxter area.

Nevis is home to world’s largest “tiger muskie”.  It is also the “gateway to the Paul Bunyan State Forest”.  Other small communities in the area with a rich history are Akeley, Dorset, Hubbard, Emmaville, and Lake George.  Itasca State Park and the Headwaters of the Mississippi River are just north of Park Rapids.

Cty. Rd. #18 brings you to Resort Content.  Cty. Rd. #18 follows the contours of the north side of Lake Belle Taine and runs parallel to the Heartland Trail.  The drive from Nevis is ½ to ¾ of a mile.  Follow the signs.  Everything is paved except the last few hundred feet of township road.
