Horseback Riding
If you want to go horseback riding while staying
at Resort Content, the closest place is the Pine River Riding Stables. There
are many people in the area who ride regularly and would welcome others
to join them. You need to have your own horse. Due to increased
insurance costs, many of the local stables do not allow others to ride
their horses.

Mountain Biking Trails
Lake Bemidji State Park and Pillsbury State
Forest near Brainerd are two well known and maintained trail systems
in our area of the state. For more information we suggest accessing
the Mn. Trails web site at www.mn.trails.com. The
spring 2010 issue of their publication listed several pages of trails
and a 2010 mountain biking race schedule. We are looking into other
possibilities in our immediate area. We believe there are trails
in the Paul Bunyan Forest north of Nevis that are suitable for mountain
biking. Check back for more information. We are doing some
research to pinpoint other possibilities.
